If You Don't Shop Online, Then You Must Read This!

Do you shop online? If not, you may want to reconsider. Online shopping has increased over the years and there are several reasons why. I have definitely made more purchases online in the past year due to these reasons.
First, it is so easy to shop online and you never have to leave your house. You can shop any time day or night, which is perfect for people that work day time shifts, night time shifts, or for someone that is constantly on the with children all day long. Put the kids to bed and go shopping without ever leaving the house!
Second, and I love this, some companies don’t even charge you shipping! Some may have a minimum order amount to receive FREE shipping, some charge just $1.00 and some nothing at all. This is perfect for purchasing gifts for your friends and family that don’t live near you. You can even get your items gift wrapped at some sites.
Third, there are many items available online that you can’t find in the stores. Many sites will carry items online that they simply can’t keep in stock in every store they have. You may also find specials on items only if purchased online.
Lastly, you can compare products from different stores without having to actually go to each store. This is a great time saver, even if you prefer to shop at a “real” store. You can go online, check out the item you are interested in and then order it online or if you want decide what store you are going to go to and purchase it there.
This past Christmas, I really took advantage of shopping online. I have relatives that live in 4 different states and every year I purchase gifts, wrap them, box them up for shipping and head off to the post office! And, what do I do at the post office?? I have to wait in a huge line and pay a small fortune to ship my gifts. I was able to buy all my gifts online, have them wrapped and pay practically nothing for shipping. There was only one site I had to pay shipping for and it was because I waited until the last minute and had to have the gift rushed.
So, as I am doing this I come across some sites that reward you for shopping at certain stores through their websites. I was thrilled. I earned points for purchases I was going to make anyways, and later was able to convert those points into cash or merchandise. For me this was a win – win situation.
After having such a great experience shopping online I will continue to do so. You can shop whenever you want, can get items delivered to your door (sometimes for FREE), find items you may not be able to find in the stores, and compare items from several stores at one time to help you decide what purchases to make.

Online Shopping Compared To The Hustle And Bustles Of Store

Therefore, it is time to go out and buy that perfect gift, but do you really want to face the hustle and bustle of all the other shoppers. There are good things to be said about traversing to the local mall, or department store. There they have holiday decorations everywhere, carols playing over the speakers, even the smells of the holidays are in the air thanks to cookies for sale, and candles scented like your favorite tree.
However much all of this sounds like fun, some people just do not want to deal with it, and so they shop early or maybe even shop at home online. Shopping online, can it really be as much fun as going to the local store; can you really find that perfect gift you are looking for? Well knowing what you are going to buy is half the battle.
Therefore, you have decided to try the internet, and you have not waited until the last minute to buy either. Ok, now what? First off get out the cocoa, light a couple of candles, my favorite is vanilla, slip on your house shoes, get out your favorite Christmas cd's and turn on the christmas tree. Wait you do not have the Christmas tree out yet, your cd's are buried along with all of the other decorations, and your candles are all burned out. Well all of this is all right the internet has you covered.
First of search for free internet radio, there you will find a holiday section just for you. Now for the lights, well that is easy too just look up holiday light displays and I am sure you will find the right picture for you. Now the candles can set a mood but the smell is what we are going for, so go into the kitchen get out the imitation vanilla, a coffee cup of hot water, add a tablespoon of vanilla, and let the steam relax you.
Therefore, the mood is set, the internet is buzzing and that gift you were looking for is right in front of you, and all you have to do now is hit click and pay. Are we done, just about, there is one other thing to consider, do you ship it to you, or do you ship to the person you are giving it to. Well on this one, I am afraid I cannot help. I like to have everything shipped to me first so I can make sure it is what I ordered, wrap it personally and hopefully be there to see the look of surprise when they open what is inside.
Now what does the hustle and bustle have above all of this? last minute shopping procrastinators, the ones who left everything to the thrill of doing it all in one day, or maybe you are like me and just enjoy getting out and facing the crowds as well as shopping from the comfort of home.

Wow! That’s a huge number and a thought comes to mind. The authenticity of gift cards purchased online and offline. Is it safe to purchase from third party vendors? How much more secure is a merchant gift card in-store on a rack with the card serial number exposed?
Online Gift Card Authenticity There are a number of gift card companies online and an array of new ones ringing up many new products and choices. A person might sell a $50.00 gift card for $40.00 on a website like www.plasticjungle.com. It is no money out of their pocket because it was a gift.
Of course if you are the traditional type, like me, you probably don’t mind the crowds, or the traffic because you love the decorations, sweet smells and ambience of the holiday season.
